Eva Dou is an internationally trained U.S. journalist who specializes in business news and East Asia. She graduates from the University of Missouri in May 2012 with a dual degree in journalism and economics.

Eva has reported on housing prices in Beijing, the euro zone financial crisis in Brussels, post-9/11 security in New York and many other topics. Her work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the Associated Press, Discovery News, Detroit Free Press and GlobalPost.

Eva hails from Detroit, where she cut her reporter’s teeth as a high school apprentice with the Detroit Free Press’ investigative team. She plans to report on economic issues in East Asia after graduation.
